Meet the Founder

Taylor Golden Norhawitz

Founder, The Founder Life • Business Architect

Entrepreneur, strategist, and builder focused on helping founders design businesses that support the life they actually want to live.

Taylor has spent two decades building businesses across startups and enterprise organizations. After launching and scaling multiple companies, she created The Founder Life to help founders design businesses that support the lives they actually want to live.

“My first business became a million-dollar brand within three years. By most measures, it looked like success. I had celebrity clients, traveled the world first class, and built a brand people admired.

That’s what the outside world saw.

Behind the scenes, it was a different story.

For six years straight, I worked 90 hours a week. I rarely saw friends. I was lucky if I made it home to see my family twice a year. My life had become completely consumed by the business I built.

Somewhere along the way, I realized something uncomfortable:

My business owned me.

I loved the freedom and empowerment that came from building something of my own. But I also knew something wasn’t right. I had built a successful business—but I had built it backwards.

Instead of designing a business around the life I wanted, I had built a business and tried to fit my life around it.

That realization changed everything.

I began rethinking how businesses should be built in the first place—starting with the life the founder actually wants to live, and then designing the business around it.”

The Founder Life was created to help founders do exactly that.

A better way to design a business.

Why I started The Founder Life

I’ve been there, doing the “hustle and grind” and wearing it like a badge of honor. I worked 90 hours a week for 6 years straight. I had no friends, spent no time with family, and my body started shutting down from stress. But I was successful…until I ended up losing everything, and it was the darkest time of my life.

I don't want anyone to go through what i went through.

There’s a better way to live. One that doesn’t cost you everything.

As I helped several friends launch their businesses I noticed, very few were stepping back to ask a more important question:

What kind of business do I actually want to build?

And more importantly:

What kind of life do I want that business to support?

The Founder Life was created to help entrepreneurs answer those questions intentionally. To start the right way.

Through workshops, community, advisory, and retreats, the goal is to help founders step out of the chaos and design businesses that align with their vision, values, and long-term goals.

No hustle. No grind.

What we’re all about

  • Most founder communities today are built online.

    Slack channels.
    Group chats.
    Endless content.

But the most meaningful conversations—the ones that actually change how you think and build—don’t happen in a thread.

    They happen in a room.

At The Founder Life, we’ve chosen to do things differently.

We prioritize real conversations over constant content.
    In-person experiences over digital noise.
    Relationships over reach.

Because the right conversation, in the right room, can change everything.

  • Intentional Rooms
    Honest Conversations
    Quality Over Scale
    Long-Term Thinking
    Give More Than You Take
    We Build Each Other Up

  • The Founder Life isn’t for everyone.

It’s for founders who care about how they build—not just what they build.

    People who:

    • Are ambitious, but don’t want burnout

    • Value real relationships over surface-level networking

    • Are building something meaningful—not just chasing revenue

    • Are open, thoughtful, and willing to contribute

    • Want to be in a room where people show up honestly

This is a room of builders.

Not spectators, not ego, not noise.

Outside of business, my life is centered around family, personal growth, nature, God, moonlighting as a first soprano, trying NOT to start another business.

I believe success isn’t just measured by growth or money, but by the ability to help OTHERS. By the ability to make the world a better place.

That belief is at the heart of everything we do inside The Founder Life.

If you’re a founder who wants to gain clarity, make your dream a reality, and do it while surrounded with loving and authentic people, I invite you to join us at our next workshop.
