Taylor has spent two decades building businesses across startups and enterprise organizations. After launching and scaling multiple companies, she created The Founder Life to help founders design businesses that support the lives they actually want to live.

“My first business became a million-dollar brand within three years. By most measures, it looked like success. I had celebrity clients, traveled the world first class, and built a brand people admired.

That’s what the outside world saw.

Behind the scenes, it was a different story.

For six years straight, I worked 90 hours a week. I rarely saw friends. I was lucky if I made it home to see my family twice a year. My life had become completely consumed by the business I built.

Somewhere along the way, I realized something uncomfortable:

My business owned me.

I loved the freedom and empowerment that came from building something of my own. But I also knew something wasn’t right. I had built a successful business—but I had built it backwards.

Instead of designing a business around the life I wanted, I had built a business and tried to fit my life around it.

That realization changed everything.

I began rethinking how businesses should be built in the first place—starting with the life the founder actually wants to live, and then designing the business around it.”

The Founder Life was created to help founders do exactly that.

A better way to design a business.

Why I started The Founder Life

I’ve been there, doing the “hustle and grind” and wearing it like a badge of honor. I worked 90 hours a week for 6 years straight. I had no friends, spent no time with family, and my body started shutting down from stress. But I was successful…until I ended up losing everything, and it was the darkest time of my life.

I don't want anyone to go through what i went through.

There’s a better way to live. One that doesn’t cost you everything.

As I helped several friends launch their businesses I noticed, very few were stepping back to ask a more important question:

What kind of business do I actually want to build?

And more importantly:

What kind of life do I want that business to support?

The Founder Life was created to help entrepreneurs answer those questions intentionally. To start the right way.

Through workshops, community, advisory, and retreats, the goal is to help founders step out of the chaos and design businesses that align with their vision, values, and long-term goals.

No hustle. No grind.

  • Life First The business exists to serve the life we want to live. We refuse to be slaves to our companies.

Human Connection We believe the most important conversations happen in person, in rooms, face to face. Real relationships over digital noise. Always.

Intentional Design We don't build reactively. We design deliberately — with clarity about who we are, our strengths, what we're building, and why it matters.

Radical Honesty We tell the truth about business. About pricing. About what's working and what isn't. Growth requires honesty before comfort.

Pay it forward We give back — to our clients, to our community, and to something bigger than ourselves. Every business that comes through TFL is encouraged to embed giving into its model.

Stay Golden Your past refines you — it doesn't define you. Every founder who walks into a TFL room carries a story that shaped them. We honor that.

  • Most founders build their business backwards.

They start with an idea, react to opportunity, and figure it out as they go — and somewhere along the way end up with a business that runs their life instead of supporting it.

The Founder Life exists to change that.

We exist to give founders the framework, the community, and the space to design their business intentionally — around the life they actually want to live — so they never have to choose between building something great and living a life that feels like freedom.

  • A world where founders build businesses that give back — to their families, their communities, and causes bigger than themselves.

Where entrepreneurship is no longer synonymous with hustle, sacrifice, and burnout — but with intention, freedom, and impact.

Where every founder who comes through The Founder Life goes on to build something meaningful, attributes their rise to the room they sat in, and pays it forward to the next founder who needs it.

A ripple effect of intentional businesses — profitable, purposeful, and generous by design — that quietly changes what entrepreneurship looks and feels like for the people who choose it.

This is how we change the world.

  • To help founders design a business that supports the life they actually want to live — through intentional frameworks, in-person community, and the honest guidance most programs never offer.

We do this through the Business Design Workshop, Founder Circles, and Founder Retreats — gathering serious founders in real rooms to do real work together, and sending them home with the clarity, structure, and confidence to build something that lasts.

What we’re all about

Outside of business, my life is centered around family, personal growth, nature, God, moonlighting as a first soprano, trying NOT to start another business.

I believe success isn’t just measured by growth or money, but by the ability to help OTHERS. By the ability to make the world a better place.

That belief is at the heart of everything we do inside The Founder Life.

If you’re a founder who wants to gain clarity, make your dream a reality, and do it while surrounded with loving and authentic people, I invite you to join us at our next workshop.
